The sands of time are running low

I'll start to post sometimes in English because of my English speaking friends. Well, the time here always goes fast, what gives the good feeling that life is being lived with intensity. The results of the work are starting to appear and new ideas are flowing, what makes some of the natural insecurity problems vanish away. As for everything else, this summer is promising to be particularly special. I am looking foward to it! Anyway, what makes life funny if not a succession of looking fowards?! "I am looking foward to meet that old friend", "I am looking foward to that party on the weekend", "I am looking foward to see that new movie"... That's what makes us keep moving and if there is no more looking fowards, we create new ones.

In the next week there will be the accreditation party of my supervisor and the Summer Fest in the University. Over next week there will be the “Arlinger Fest”, a yearly party occurring in the street of Karen's fiancé. The thing is that Karen and I have been preparing our selves to play there. Karen is a very talented singer and actually would not need my help, but for the funny of the thing I'll be shredding my guitar following the respective .mp3 karaoke files. The set-list is quite diverse, just to give an example, it ranges from "Bring me back to life" from Evanescence to "Girl from Ipanema" from Tom Jobin. With such broadness of music styles we hope to please everyone ;)

In July there is the bachellorete's party of Karen, in which she, Christine and I will be heading into a crazy one day trip to London. The idea is to arrive there early in the morning, meet a friend of Karen who will walk with us during the day and then look for a club to party on over the night. This means 24 or more hours awake. Some days after that comes the wedding, i.e., more party. Right after that comes WACKEN! No comments, three days in the biggest open air metal festival in the world. And guess who is playing there?! ...

Then it will be time to think about the next trip. The one I am going to take with Christine to Spain. We did not plan yet, but that will be the idea, buy cheap flying tickets and let our selves get lost in Spain for one week. Someone might be wondering if I do not do anything else besides trips and partys but it probably makes no fun for the readers if I describe my daily work routine in here ;)

In October the Semester will start again and will be time to consolidate the work done during the year and start to look forward to spend the Christmas in Brazil with my family.
